WHAT AN INSPIRING MLK DAY OF SERVICE!
Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., La Convivencia partnered with the First Methodist Church of Hightstown to present an interfaith panel about service and to collect food, toiletries and clothes for both Hightstown's RISE and for the Church's food pantry.
The community came together to pack donations, make greeting cards for the needy and created art honoring Dr. King. A panel of Rev. Sammy Arroyo, Imam Mendez, and Rabbi Anna Boswell-Levy spoke about community service, how MLK inspired them, and concluded with the importance of youth and adults voting and getting involved.
Shout out to all of our awesome volunteers who make our communities a better place!
Let’s do our part and work together towards building a peaceful and just world for all!

Celebrating the Legacy of Dr. King!
